Welcome to Fishing Trips Washington
Here we have posted information about fishing the northwestern waters of beautiful Washington State. Located next to some of the greatest salmon and halibut fishing spots in all the world. Come here to fish for Chinook(King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pacific Halibut, Ling Cod, and much more. Wonderful vacations can be had here if you book a great fishing charter and fishing resort. Washington is adjacent to the beautiful fishing waters of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. King Salmon are prized here for their size and ability to put up a great fight. Also during the summer you can see whales migrating up and down the coast off of the Olympic Peninsula. These beautiful waters provide a great spot for family fishing trips.
The best time to come for salmon fishing is from May through early September. The rest of the year it is a great place to catch Ling Cod and Bass. You will need a Washington State Fishing license and if you go a little further North to the Canadian side you can catch even more with a Canadian Fishing Guide. They are allowed more fish per person than in the states and the prices are usually the same or better.
King Salmon Fishing
Salmon Fishing has long been a part of economy of this area. Many people across the world purchase King and Coho Salmon caught commercially in these waters. But few know the thrill of catching one of these great fighters and eating it that night on their vacation. Many guides will clean the fish for you but not many can offer you a gourmet meal with your own catch. One such charter is Salmon Eye Charters located on the western side of Vancouver Island in a little town of Ucluelet. This charter will also Vacuum Pack the rest of your catch and ship it back to your home for your enjoyment. Coho Salmon are also popular here. While they don't get as large as King Salmon they are scrappy fighters and aggressive eaters. They are fun on the line and provide hours of fun as they are plentiful during the summer season.
